RC Driving Style
Today was the first chance in a long time to get to a local track. I was the only one there so no action shots, just a few static.

The track is designed for 1/8 buggies, the approach ramps were a little steap. the SC8 bumper ploughed into most of the jumps so I avoided them. Instead I made a nice Oval track with the main jump at the driver's stand, table top (which required approach ramp work), and a nice chicane section. The track was dusty so traction was an issue with the stock SC8 tires but I was surprised at how well they did.

The truck appeared nose heavy coming off every jump so I added 5mm of preload to the front shocks. Totally changed the truck's performance and I was soon jumping and landing on all fours. The truck is a blast to drive, it's unfortunate there isn't more of a following in my area.

I got some GoproHD vids to upload to youtube but it's going to take a while and I haven't compiled the video yet.

That track looks fun! I was on holidays for 4 weeks and haven't been around for a while, I came back to a pile of work though. I tried my buggy rims and tires on mine and was staying ahed of buggies and truggies with it during club practise lol.
