I am very new to touring cars, but I have been searching to see if some one has ever put a OS18TM in one.

Any one here ever done it?

I am just curious
Thanks in advance!

If not before, there is now..:)
I did it, but I haven't had time test it yet.

Like I said I am just curious

I can only imagine its gonna be uncontrollably FAST. I've the the O.S. .18 CV-R in my RS4 3 and I think its way to big of an engine for 1/10 on-road. I dont know how the 4-tec is with huge amounts of torque so watch out lol

Let me know what you think... I've been wondering about the OS upgrade. And would appreciate your input.
Will do!
I'll try to get some video at least!

Sounds like what I wanted to hear;)
Thanks for the warning!

RS4 3 Shaft Driven

Wow, this is something that I can actually answer.

Yes I have one in my rs4 3 shaft driven car. I car is awesome in torque. Its gets in top speed really fast. I time it in 25 yards, and it got there in 1.49secs.

I used from the traxxas tmaxx are
1. flywheel
2. Clutch nut
3. clutch
4. manifold
5. resonator pipe.

Other car set up are
1. 19/23 pinion clutch bell.
2. 37/41 spur gear
Everything else is a comestic hop up.

also I had to drill the chassis for the engine mount.

Just a quick update here..

I got it in there, fits great!

I have the trinity exhaust on there and it was working fine and got a couple questions at the LHS.(Along with laughs when they seen how bad the foams looked.)
It was just on this side of uncontrollable high end and low.
Well, it used to be anyways. It didn't take long to wear down the rear tires so much that I assume It put to much stress on the rear belt and snapped it.

Fun while it lasted now I need parts.
If there is any interest in a video I can get one when I gather up some parts.

Just out of curiosity, will the wider belts of the 3.3 4tec fit 2.5 4tec pulleys?

I have a HPI RS4 3 EVO + w/ a O.S. .18 CV-R and its insane with a good tune. Runs at about 190-200 and with my gearing i'll fly past 4-tec's all day. one thing that i can't stand about it, is that it snap's axle's and center drive shafts allday long.
I gott have atleast 2-3 of each one when i go out to run it.
The rear center and all axles are the same size and the front is a little longer.
Does anyone know where i can get some crazy strong axles???

I do not know how to put in thumbnail parts, if someone come explain to me how to do it, then I would post the pictures up.
