Well the ole Maxx proved itself once again. Last night here in Louisiana we had a horrible storm. I knew it was supposed to rain but I didn't know how bad it would be. I left my truck out in my workshop because I had been tuning last night and I didn't want to put it on our white carpet and stuff until I wiped it down first. So in the middle of the night I got woken up because I thought someone was beating on the side of our house. It was HAIL, sounded kinda like baseballs hitting the roof. So I rolled over, thought about how glad I was the maxx was under shelter, and went to bed. Well I get up this morning only to discover that a corner of the roof above my truck had blown off early in the storm, so my T-Maxx was soaking wet and had held out through one of the worst hail (or hale, whichever) storms I can remember. I immidiately brought it inside and tore into it cleaning and drying as I went. I took all electronics as far apart as I could get them without re-soldering them and dried them out really good. Once I got it all back together, everything worked without a hitch as far as I can tell. Just thought it was a good testamony seeing as how the Maxx is not the best known for being strong and durable.

Unbelievable.
Anyway, it's always good to have an excuse to tear these things down and work on them.
Glad to hear everything worked out. Now call your insurance company to check on your roof.
