tornado fuel

hi guys.

i just finished building my savage ss. iam about to brake her in.
i always used tornado 16% fuel, synthetic oil in my onroad car.
some guy told me that synthetic oil is bad for rc cars and they make it reduce the engine life.

is this true??

anyone know something about tornado fuel? good ?? bad??
and is synthetic oil so much worse then castor oil?

i can only seem to get this brand and no other where i live

I would just use the fuel that you can get. Because if you order fuel from lets say Tower, you have to buy a lot, and you also have to pay for hazardus material shipping, whiich is ups ground (this could take a while) So for a case of fuel it would cost you over $100. I

Just go with what is easier for you to use, just make sure you don't run your engine lean, to hot, and make sure your air and fuel are clean going into the engine. Your engine should last you a good long time!

My R/C heli uses Byron 15% nitro with 16% Castor/synthetic blend oil. Most synthetic oils have properties that are better than natural oils. In a heli, the engine is very difficult to get access to, so after-run oil is only used for long storage. Obviously the synthetic oil content also helps to protect it.
You shouldn't have any problem with it, and in fact, it may even prolong it's life.

gonna use the 20% nitro fuel then. np
