RC Driving Style
I can't make up my mind between the nitro slash, assoc sc8 or the vxl rustler.... anyone have any advice... I am a long time rc guy. just can't make up my mind... alot of good cars right now.. btw I still have my original grasshopper....
 
u mean nitro slayer,well what to u want electric or gas? rustler and slash is electric sc8 os nitro.BUT almost anything can always be made to electric

sorry slayer... I prefer Nitro but out of the box that vxl looks bad too the bone.. electric is a pain or at least my sons emaxx...
 
i had a slash and the hardest thing about that was charging the batterys and trying to break it.

ima say vxl rustler all u need is some lipos and u rready to go
 
Slayer is great!

I just bought a nitro slayer and I have no complaints. It is a good Rc, but it really depends on if you want nitro or electric. I had a few issues with the suspension but nothing you can not adjust.
 
I just got the VXL and i could not ask for more! I think nitro is a pain.

Honestly, the Rustler is two wheel drive and thus a bear to control--especially on BL. The Slayer has handling issues as stated above. The Associated SC8 is as bad a$$ as they come. IMO...

Wish I still had my Grasshopper. Would make a hell of a nice moving target...
