Top Fuel, wow!

Top Fuel is pretty well made. All three of my engines have used top fuel as well as other brands (Trinity, BT, Wildcat).... and on _each_ of those engines, the minimum difference in temperature when using Top Fuel was 10F, sometimes more using the same tuning settings. Impresses me. If I need more nitro than 20% for racing and such, then I certainly use something different, but Top Fuel is just plain Good Stuff for all around use.

I have used blue thunder and trinity monster horsepower fuel, and I believe the trinity is much better. The blue thunder felt like I was pouring syrup into my engine, it didn't give me the acceleration like the trinity fuel does. As far as metal vs plastic spur gears, I would suggest getting a plastic one made by kimbrough because when you think about it, metal = more moving mass. The plastic ones made by kimbrough are pretty heavy duty, and do not wear as fast as the stock ones offered by traxxas.

I just recently switched from blue thunder to top fuel and I noticed a couple of differences, good and bad.

Good

• A bit thicker
• More Power/Torque

Bad

• A bit more sensitive tuning
• Weird smell that kinda hurts nose, lol.
