AND Found this...... can't win for losing....Looks like a new motor is in the future.:(

Actually that is a big block. It is an HPI .25. Wow that sucks man sorry to see that. Good thing is just about any big block will push that thing along pretty well.

That is too bad, good thing you decided to tear it down though, would have been weird to try and start it....:(

That's the chance you take when buying a used nitro. Always include the price of a new engine on top of the deal. You should be able to get a new engine for $80-100. Let the hpi guys chime in. Seems that picking up the same engine would suit you best so you can reuse all of your engine parts. Flywheel, clutch, pipe, ect... Though these parts may work on a better engine.

did the T-maxx ever come with a 1.5. i got a complete T-maxx with a 2.5, a complete Duratraxx axis with a 3.5 and an almost complete T-maxx with a 1.5.

yeah, gonna go back with the same engine. (HPI 4.1) I had already planned on a "what if" situation. But since I only got a total of fifty bucks in the truck. A new engine plus my cost aint to bad, and then Ill know ALL the history of the engine.... Instead of previous owner info...
