Can you use too much after run oil? I have a brand new Novarossi TOP ct12 (never started) and it is mounted in my truck and I am going to wait till spring for break-in and I wanted to make sure it was lubed up for the winter sit.

It will just be a pain in the butt to get the AFO out of the engine and get it started when your ready to run her. I dont think you can ever use too much AFO.

another thing it might do is smoke a bit more than usual the first run, might foul out the plug really quick too

edit: personally i'd rather see a bit more smoke a couple of runs and have to use an extra plug than have my engine hurt.

Too much ARO is never a bad thing. It will mean a hard time starting the engine, and a little retuning to keep it running right....at least until you burn out the excess oil.

Remember, moving parts (especially metal ones) like oil.

To get the ARO out easier could you not use WD-40 to help flush it out. WD40 is so thin it would mix with the ARO and then you could have it drain out thorough the glow plug hole.

WAIT TILL SPRING TO BREAK IT IN???????? why u waitin so long to break it in? anywayz it wont hurt a thing. but like everybody else said, might be a little work makin her go again.

LOL! I can understand wanting to take care of your ride, but I hear it's ok to run it in the cooler weather, just when you are done get it back inside the house or your warm car so it don't cool down too fast.

u said it is mounted in a truck right? well u can run trucks in the snow it is alright.
