Loosen the glow plug 1/2--3/4 turns from tight. I't'll start just fine, like a compression release, than while its running tighten down the g.p.

So, like, after it gets warmed up (240 degrees or so), what do you guys do to the guy usually? Do you lean it out or richen it up a couple clicks? Like 3-5 clicks maybe? Anyone recall which way is rich and which way is lean? (clockwise/counterclockwise)

if its runnin to hot ill richen, it if its at a good temp and think i can get some more power out of it ill lean it a lil. Clockwise is lean, Counter-Clockwise is richen

I let it idle through 2.5 tanks of gas. It was 240' F almost the whole time after it was warmed up. I picked it up a few times and hit the throttle and varied the revs a few times. It got up to 250' F at one point.

I think that is OK, though, because when it's "running", there will be air flowing across the head...

What temp should it idle at when it's not running and just sitting in place after it has warmed up?
