Lesson our trannys look alike.

I'm interested in seeing you hook throttle linkage up with that engine like that? you need to take the carb off and turn it 180*.

Dude I love those tires and wheels! That brings your whole truck together as a bad ass lol.

Bryson

Bryson thanks. And jonser I fabed my own linkage set up. It works I have had it done 2 other ways before but this is the best 1 I fabed.

Rolex where are you? what do you think?

I'm BAAAAAaaaaaaack.
Hey man, that is really looking good. Quite a project, but always a labor of love. The combination of the blue and the alloy parts is really sharp.
I've spent hours today working on my custom lid, the old Dodge Power Wagon. I'm actually taking a break from the mechanical work till I get a few more parts.

I had to get some chassis braces from LHS tonight to put on for some insurance that my rig will not flex. The Guy at the HS had three different ones ang got some Powerline ones that really seemed the thickest.

Here are the braces, I never heard of the brand but I chose them. They had a solid weight but not heavy.

last night was the toughest one yet. Hanging the arm and such is easy compared to having to mod my brake linkage and throttle but I had that done allready thanks to my buddy.I had to mod my header and pipe hanger, and I had to trim one my gas tank screw holes to fit the roll bar. The brakes are all modded and I thought I was gonna trip out but it got done. I just had to call Scott at Billy trucks to get a cup for my rear axle, when that comes I will be done. Here are some pics.
This is where I striped it down some.

is there a stronger steering servo? And where the wheels are put on I forget the name, but is there a stronger unit I can use maybe with bearings in it? Mine have some play. The savage has some nice strong ones. Any ideas? thanks
