Tonight I started! Long post.

Well I got time to put my rig together some tonight. I started with my RPM A-Arms.Took the shocks off and changed my 50 weight fluid. Added RPM bulk braces. and put in my front and rear shock towers, My mip shiney bodies big bore shocks also got a rebuild. Tomrrow I will do theTranny with RRP FO gears also my hardened CVD's, roll bar and fuel filter. Then put on my K@N air filter and my mayhem 7 inch tires:yes:. I also used all new screws while I was at it. If any nody has some chassis braces for a tmaxx they want to get rid of let me no, I have cash or a nice 2 gig mp3 player with a tuner and screen. Now I need a name for the beast with my little picco .21 mill. What do you guys think?

looks like you got a good start on a pretty tough truck. the only thing i see is dont use the k&n they let in to much fine dust. go with a nice motor saver style or buggy style filter.

I think you should lose the K&N filter. If you're gonna be anywhere around dirt and dust there are much better options out there. The most popular is probably the Motorsaver filter. Pretty much everybody will tell you to ditch the K&N on your Maxx.

Toss that K&N or you will be tossing your piston and sleeve in short order. The K&N is crap for use in RC's.

Well then, I'll be tossing mine. I actually recommended it in another thread a while back. Whoever talked me into one liked them because they looked so cool.
I trusted them because they were so solidly built. Fortunately, I haven't used it yet.

I have not used it yet, but I I put filter oil on it they still suck?The stock traxxas one I have been told are not that good and are to small for my .21 mill to breath good. Man I spent 23 bucks on the K@N. I will post some pics tonight.

I will let you know about the tranny. I did not get anything done tonight.
I still have the roll ber to do the shocks back on, fuel filter, CVD's and my mayhem tires on the UFO's. Ill do a before and after. This stuff is time consumming, and I dont have steady hands at all.But I will get it!

I am keeping the K@N filter cause I drive it in fields most of the time. But I am getting a motor saver for those times I get in more loose dirt. The filter I've heard was not that bad by some people that use them. The k@n looks awsome.

Alot was done last night the back shoch tower all the shocks filled and bled, the arms are all done.today I put the roll bar on and I have to drill out a yolk in the rear, tranny, in line filter,tune and it should be done for now. And I have my tires, all I can saw is I likey alot.
