i recently got some Mccoy glow plugs. have not had any problem with them in the past, but sunday i went through 3 in less than ten mins? was not even running my truck hard? could i have gotten a bad batch of plugs???? i have used these before in my 2.5 maxx and have not had any problems????

have not really changed anything on my truck, i just thought it was odd to burn up 3 in such a short time?

I got the same ones for my picco .26 and honestly I had a traxxas glow plug last longer than one of those.. but they are supposed to be better from what everyone says.... maybe a bunch were made alittle weaker this time around??? or our tune is off for those plugs because it is gonna need alittle different tune for those I would think....

i have had no luck with MCCOY
we went thru 8 on a 3.3 jato trying to break it in
i stick to traxxas or os plugs

I was told by my lhs that it depends on the % of nitro you are running. I run the 20% sidewinder and was told to use the McCoy MC59 (Hot plug) and they last quite a while for me. I tried the MC8 with the same nitro% and was frying the plug alot more often.

MC8=higher nitro% ie:33%
MC59=lower nitro% ie:20%

I'm running torco 20% nitro. i might have just gotten a bad batch. but my traxxas ones were lasting longer.
