I would say no deal, it looks like he beat the crap out of it. Even though he has a bunch of upgrades it still looks rough. I'm only saying no deal because it looks like yours looks in fairly good condition.

Geez man, I don't know. As an owner of a RC10GT, there's a handful of hop-ups he's done that I'd like to get. I agree with Reptile, it looks good and used, but considering the parts he's put on it, it may be worth at least talking more to him about it. Any idea why he's wanting to get rid of it? Who knows, it may just need a good cleaning! I will say, I had to take the .18 CV-R off mine simply because I was going through tires so often! That thing will absolutely scream with that .18 on it!

I love my GT! Thing is tougher than a Ponderosa steak, especially with those hops on it! Only thing I'd do, if I were to get it, would be to swap the aluminum arms out for RPM, but I'd keep those axle carriers for sure!

Touch call, in my opinion. Maybe ask some questions as to why he wants to get rid of it.

mine ought to look in good condition, it is mostly new parts (I suck at driving it lol)
plus I don't know a lot about rc10's don't know what to ask... he he he
how you doin' MW still waiting on the lsn for my wasp... so it can sting me too

Ah. I gave up on it! Got a HPI 4.1 off eBay for $80.00 new, so I dropped that in there. Gonna hang onto the Wasp, maybe give it another chance someday!

As for that RC10GT, it's 2WD, but he's added the Robinson gears in the tranny and the tranny brace, which are two key additions. That, and all the RPM stuff makes it at least worth considering. It's a tough little rig, for sure! I just started racing mine this year (only one race so far) and other than a few self-inflicted problems, it ran really well! That .18 will make that little rig flat scream!

I agree with MW........I would have to ask some questions and talk to him more about it. Is everything in his auction included with the trade?

I have 2 GTs and have 2 T-Maxx's...........love both

Enjoy both but they are totally different machines......

Why are you selling your Maxx? Is it to get something different?

Nitro

nah, the wife sayes I have too many rc's
2 t-maxx's
1 jato
2 ofna buggy's soon to be 3
and a maximum truck, not even sure where I got that one but it is brand new ha ha ha (brand new dura traxx he he he)
but the right neat trade comes along...

The gt is a stadium truck just like your jato, but its a tried and true race platform. I had a gt as my first truck and didin't keep it long. I went to a buggy. It was a great truck though. Very easy to work on and fairly durable considering the power to weight ratio.

I would definitally do the trade... Then I when I got the gt, I would sell some of the stuff it came with and get different stuff like rpm arms. I think it would be a wise choice. Not many people want t-maxxes these days...

If you say you had problems driving the Maxx you are going to hate a 2WD stadium truck--they are way way harder to drive.

I wouldn't trade....The RC10 is a proven RC for sure but that one looks like it's done a few tours in Iraq. Then besides, the whole point was to sell off a truck to please the wife, if you end up with a different truck instead of minus a truck, you could be in the dog house :OMG:

Best of luck either way
Ray

Rc10gt's actually go pretty cheap on ebay. Ya can get a pretty tricked out one for around $200. I myself would just sell the Tmaxx outright. You should have enough to buy a Rc10gt off ebay and have some extra $$ if ya wanted. If you race or plan to than Id say go for it, if smply a basher, Id say no. To me the rc10gt was boring to bash with.

Well, knowing this, I'd have to agree with Ray as well. You already have the Jato, so the GT would be a bit overkill, really. Multiple buggy's I can understand, but the GT and the Jato are pretty similar.

well... kinda put the jato up on ebay this afternoon, and the ultra lx too... so I will be down to 3 units. that means I can get a new one? there is a rule right??!
