i have a traxxas t-maxx that i put a 3.3 engine in. i broke it in last year and have been working on it all winter. i have since put on integy 3 piece clutch, slipper clutch upgrade kit and hop up resonater pipe. just took it out for the first time yesterday. it ran fine....for about a minute until it shut off. the cooling fins were hot to the touch. it would start back up if i kept my finger on the throttle for a little bit, but it died when i gave it more throttle. my question is this: do i have to tune the engine to the new pipe i put on? the engine ran really good last year....and if i do have to retune, where would te starting point be? 'm almost wondering if i should put the old pipe on to see how it works...

tune

go back to factory settings and go from there i did the same with mine its got a macs pipe on it but i believe the factory settings r 3 on H.S and 1 1/2 on L.S.

ok

well its a brand new out of the box 3.3 engine so i think it's already at factory settings. i could check but I'm pretty sure it is. any other ideas?
