RC Driving Style
Why doesn't anyone drive TNXs? They seem like a great truck. I am looking for a basher, and I know that everyone will say Savage, but my friend has a Savage and I don't realy want the same truck as him. Also, my local has a TNX that they are selling for almost nothing. So anyone with experience with both trucks or just one, please give me some info (durability, accelaration, ect.).
 
I think the reason why people shy away from them is the availability of parts and hop ups out there for them. They seem to be good trucks (Bruce from Rusch Rc has/had one and I think he liked it). They got decent reviews.. ::cough::get a savage::cough::
 
How is durability? From what I have seen in videos, they can smoke Mgts in speed and acceleration, and they seem quite nimble. Just to play around... what are the real plusses of an MGT? They seem really slow and heavy.
 
The MGT is probly the best truck you can buy, with a few upgrades it can be a true racer like mine, the stock radio is junk, but otherwise i love the truck. Super easy to clean, easy tuning, Very competitive. This forum has Everything you need to know about the MGT. www.mgtforum.com

I really like the MGT and the TNX isn't that bad looking either. The issue my be like my location where my LHS doesn't sale parts for the above trucks.
 
In a couple of reviews that I have read, the TNX is faster, with better acceleration. Is this true? What are the major attractions to the MGT? Why do you like it?
