I get it. So when I get one it can't go over what like 270? So you think its dangerously lean?

I agree with Rolex, you can't tune by temp only. My t-maxx likes to run at 260-285, which seems hot. But it doesn't exhibit any signs of overheating so I assume all is OK.

Well to tell you the truth I haven't used the temp at all cuz it was so inacurate.

I never used temp before either, I just got tired of spitting on my engine for information. So I bought a temp gauge. The temp. gauge is only partially useful, only you can tell how your truck is running........

Ohhhhhhh. I get it. Well isn't it ok as long as it isn't stalling out? I will get one but just wondering.

Thats the thing, as long as your not stalling out the higher temps seem to be ok=devil
At least for my situation.... I definetly recomend getting a temp gun....

Well u drove it a bunch. You should know I tought you everything you know but not everything I know.

Aas long as you keep spitting on the head while your running than you shouldn't have any problems with temperature.......... Until you get a temp gun........I was going to get a traxxas temp probe, but I heard they don't work that well..............

Regardlesss of the time Flanders, I would lean out the LSN an 1/8 of a turn or so in the morning. And then go from there. I frequently have the same problem, and fixing the LSN seems to usually take care of it.
