Can someone tell me what to do about my Maxx weaving while going in reverse?? The wheels are all straight front and rear. Do I need to toe them in or something??

I can't speak for mechanical settings to correct your problem, but I used to drive forklifts in a warehouse. When you put the steering in the rear, vehicles tend to "weave" while moving, like you described.

You could probably adjust to eliminate some of the "Weave" but I get the feeling you won't ever totally eliminate what your getting.

I could be wrong.

The issue is simple if you look at how the tires are setup.

The chevrons on the tire are pointed forward and come from the outside and point to the center of the tires like an arrow. When you drive forward the telemetry will pull the force in a strait line toward the center of the tire causing it to track in a strait line.

When you go backward the telemetry is un-even.

Put your tires on backward and drive forward and you will have the same issue.

Second issue may be the amount of alcohol you have had to drink.

you kill me! How much beer is right. Why are you trying to track straight in reverse anyway? I know the answer to your problem but its gonna cost you a $10 part and 20 minutes of work. What you say? It a FOC Forward only conversion. It will not only make your truck so much faster you wont "shudder" when accelerating anymore you wont have your reverse problem anymore. Extra bonous you have a spare throttle servo.....and all that telematry stuff too.

yeah... that scene in Smokey in the Bandit when he's doing sixty in reverse?... don't believe it.
