First off, What have you done? Have you looked at the DVD that is supplied with new kits?

What have you done so far?

It's an all stock tmaxx with an exception of rpm a arms and a titanium spur gear. That all i done to it and also i dont have a dvd. Bought used with two other 2.5 motors.

Stock settings on the HSN is 4 1/2 turns if I got the right needle? Just turn it all the way right until it stops. Then turn it left 4 1/2 turns and this should get you going. After that you really need a temp gauge to see what dirrection to go from there.

0-200 = Degrees is rich

220-270 = Normal

270 - 300 = lean

If lean, turn it to the left and if it's rich you go right. Also in small turns of 1/16 turns and let her idle a bit in between turns to let her get used to each adjustment.

Hope I got that right and it helps

If the motors were already broken in then just reset to factory settings like Ray says and tune from there. Easy motor to break in if they are not. Did you get a manual? (I know you said you did not get a DVD)
