Tmaxx trouble

I have a t-maxx also. the wires were all cracked and had bare wires showing. I'm told the fuel dries out the rubber and cause them to crack. anyway i got the battery holder and prewired switch for 5.00 from hobby town.
 
Thers a hobbie town close to me but they don't have much for t-maxx at least everything I have asked for they will have to order so I drive to superior hobbie
