tmaxx tranny upgrade?

hey guys just bought used 3.3 tmaxx that used to be a 2.5 it was making some weird clicking noises in the tranny when shifting from forward to reverse took it apart and theres like three gears shredded apart does anyone know if theres a better alternative then getting another same two speed with reverse i have red a few posts saying to eliminate reverse is an easy altenative?thanks

The forward only conversion is definately the way to go. I think the 3.3 trans is a better unit too, someone else will have to say for sure there though as I don't have personal experience with it.
