Tmaxx throttle and or gear problem??

I have a nitro tmaxx truck I just recently got. Worked for a few weeks and was loads of fun but one day when I started it it instantly went wide open throttle but didn't go anywhere. Don't know much about these trucks so I'm kinda stuck. I've tinkered with it a little but I still can't figure it out. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated thanks!!!!

when it went wide open throttle, did it do this on its own or did you do that from your radio?

If you were trying to make it go, then you have a stripped gear or loose slipper clutch. If you weren't telling it to go then you have a radio or reciever issue.

it does it on its own. i dont even get the chance to touch the controller. it just goes wide open.

i would start with why its wide open first.. I've never heard of tha before.. did you check to see if the carb was stuck open for some reason?

Is your throttle servo working with the engine off? Or is it stuck? Is the linkage broken or missing the return spring? Take off your filter and run the radio system while watching the carb. If it all looks/works good then it's gotta be interference. Then we can figure out why it won't go anywhere after that. Hopefully you're not getting it wet, that gets expensive.:whhooo:

If possible, video would be a big help. I'm at a loss at the moment.

Could be some metal parts vibrating together. That will cause interference.
