I have the older tmaxx 3.3 with a 54 tooth factory spur gear.
I want to make it wheelie a bit easier and dont mind sacrificing some top end speed. I know I have to stiffen the rear suspension a bit as well.

ANYWHO......

I beleive my spur gear options are 56 58 and 72 tooth. Is this correct?

Recomendations??

i have the older tmaxx like u and i just put a 54t integy steel spur and trxxas steel center drive shafts and it wheelies great but i mean it did wheelie great before i think a 58 will do it i would go any bigger

The 72 tooth is for the old pro .15 engine (I belive) it is a different pitch and won't fit.
but for better acceleration (wheelies) the bigger spur gear with a smaller clutch bell should do the trick
Skip forward about 50 seconds to see the wheelies
