godo afternoon ppl.
i am redoing my shocks again lol,,but i want a firmer shock so i bought 50wt oil and but i dont have all 8 pistons for in the thta are 1 hole
i have enough to do 4 and have plenty with 2 small holes in them for all 8
will the 2 small holed ones be tter then the 1 hole pistons??
first time tring this so that why i am asking ,i am going to use the stock red strings so i stil have the plush travel, just want a little firmer dampening
lemme know
rick

Well 1 hole arent any better then 2 hole it just depends on what wt. oil you are running, I would suggest though you go out and buy some stiffer springs,

i plan on buy stiffer spring but not the blacks i was using ,
maybe the blues or something
will the 50wt oil help ..

blue springs are a good choice, and 50 wt will definatly help.

trinity blues right??
if not please gimme a link to the right 1'..i would like to have daul stagers ..
thanx

racin - If you are lookin to make your shocks more firm you need stiffer springs, not [just] heavier oil. Heavier oil will help balance out a more firm spring but if you use springs that are too soft with oil that is too heavy (in addition to not enough piston holes) and you run the risk of blowin the shock. I run Trinity blues on my T-Maxx as well. But keep in mind there are two blues, one is light blue (firm) and the other is dark blue (extra extra firm). I don't suggest the dark blue ones unless you're truck is really heavy compared to stock. Trinity light blues with 50 wt and two hole piston would be a good place to start

actually, I have one set of 4 Trinity heavy blue springs I'll sell ya if your interested.
