I have a tmaxx that I wanna start working on again. Its been sitting for about 3-4 years. Do you think the motor would still be okay? I think it is an os15 aftermarket. If not, what motor do you recommend I buy? I have $400 to spend.

If the engine was completely emptied of fuel and stored with a generous amount of after run oil in it, it probably just needs sealed up. If there was fuel left in it, it'll need cleaned real well.

If you have 400 bucks to spend then I would take a real close look at what you have now. It doesn't have the revo spec driveline and could possibly need an engine after sitting 4 years. You might wanna get a new maxx and strip the old one for parts.

I agreee with you 400 will get you the new 4908 maxx and use old one for parts i mean 3-4 years is a longtime to sit.
