I'm wanting to know what spur and clutch bells yall are running, I'm wanting to change mine to give it more bottom end to mid range. I'm currently running a 22 t clutch bell and on the spur I'm not really sure on the teeth count but a friend of mine has the stock one on his and mines about 2 times bigger. Any suggestions??

We need to know what truck you have. Need to know what engine is on it. And we need to know what spur you have.

Small bell and BIG spur = low end and wheelies.

you can go to low. dont do a 72 tooth spur gear with a 14 tooth pinion, its TO low dont use a clutch gear that is 5mm x 8mm bearing, you need at l east a 5mm x 10mm. the small bearing wont hold up.

Sounds like your comparing a 2.5 maxx and a 3.3. Step down 2 teeth on your clutch or 2 on the spur and 1 on the clutch for a little less of a change. Or one on the clutch. See what you like best.

iam sorry i should have said on a 3.3 you can go to low. when i put a 72 spur on a 14 clutch it was geared so low that it toped out in about 15 ft. then i ran 40 or 50 ft at top rpm. it heated the glow plug so much a piece came off and jamed the piston. you dont want to hear the rest of the story. i think out side the box to much for my own good sometimes. iam starting to think the closer to stock you keep it the better off you are. also a 14 clutch uses a 5x8 bearings that small bearing ( 8) doesn't hold up i wiped out 4 set in 5 days.

mine is a 2.5 with an os engines .18 cvrx engine, my friend has a stock 3.3 and his is like a rocket and mine is sluggish, I've looked all over my spur for the teeth count and can't find it
