I thought the new OS .18 was ready to take the EZ starter already...did you try mounting it on at all yet?

no the ez-start will not fit the 1-way on the .18 is hex shaped were as the trx 2.5 is oval with 2 flat sides and the pilot shaft for the 1-way on the os is 8mm and the trx is 6mm
the TM will but not the cvrx

noone ever heard of KHB RACING???
i tried to link into there site and can't please help before i get rid of all my ez-start stuff

This is the OS motor .18 drop in for the Maxx:

there isnt a way to bolt the ez-start onthe cvrx ,so if needed i will just buy a tiger drive for it ,
no biggy or just keep the pull start

I don't mean to pirate a thread or anything but the question seemed about done, but davidhicks, how do you like that os .18 tm versus the 2.5 you replaced it with as far as power and tune-ability? Any pros/cons, information to share?

Tiger drive would probably be the best way to go....you could probably get a rotostart unit to run it from....not as bulky as a drill

That's a progress pic there. I don't even have the radio gear in it yet. Memorial Day weekend was pretty busy.

I'll definitely post my findings when I get it fired up.
