tmaxx engine drop ins...HELP

The OS 15 CV-R has about 1.2hp and is real light, but when I put it in my Maxx I had to cut the shaft about an eigth of an inch because it hit the tranny case. But it is an excellent engine to put in the Maxx trucks, IMO it's almost reminds me of the trx 2.5, but it holds a tune better.
