I have a tmaxx with a 3.3 in it that has not been started in a few months, and I want to start it. But I do not have a throttle servo at the moment and I was wondering if I could start it up to make sure it works without it jumping or flying away. I do have a failsafe so will I be all right?

Without a servo what would the fail safe send the signal to, to close the carb???

If you have a throttle return spring thatwould return the throttle closed to the idle gap if something went wrong you would be ok to work the throttle by hand to test.

Okay thanks, haha I wasn't thinking about the failsafe having to send a signal to the throttle servo.
