tmaxx 2.5 transmission problem....

i was running my 2.5 when suddenly the car will no longer move. engine is running clutch bell is gripping the spur gear. i opened the transmission to see if any of the gears are stripped but i found out its not. as i looked at the transmission assembly off of the traxxas website i see the the output gears have some kind of metal that goes out. i assume that those metal are the one gripping the black round thing that is attached to the output gears. is there a way to check how to make the output gears grip the round shifting thing.

check all your bearings. theres a 1 way bearing in there also, see if its worn out. JT

tranny problem

there is a steel pin that holds the gear to the shaft, there is 2 types that was used on the 2.5 one you can just pull apart and the pin is in between the gears and the other setup the pin is visable, it takes a alen wrench to take the pin out, yours is probaly broke! Get a 10 dollar forward only kit when you put it back together, you will be happy!
