ok so today i went down to my LHS to get a set of rims (2) cuz i didnt even notice till today that the other day when i went out bashing i broke a stock rim. so i just wanted to go out and get one rim. which he wouldnt do. so buying set was stupid when i could get the Maxximizers for 5 bucks more. so i got a set and i said to the guy wish you had a matching set of 4 and i would get them(i really didnt want a set of 4 i just wanted him to realize that its stupid not to sell 4 of the same color/style rims) so he told me if you get the rims ill throw in a free set of tires that i have in the back, i said ok why not. so he gave me 2 imex pinn dawg tires and 2 swamp dawg tires and the off set of the maxximizer rims for free. so for 25 bucks i got 4 tires that arent the same, and 4 rims that arent the same lol. whatever though free is free.

my question is now i have 2 sets of different tires and i dont know what to run in the front and what in the back. i was thinking putting the swamp dawgs in the back and the pinn dawgs in the front. i just wanted to see what you guys think. let me know

hey.. you got a sweet deal!! this is what i would do.. i was never a fan of mix matching any thing.. you will probly spin thru the pins really quick. but they are awesome to have couse they hook up great on most packed dirt surface. can you find matcing rims of eather type..if so. see if you can get another se of pins and another dawgs.. you can get a set of dish rims really cheapthen you will have 2 complet sets . i think if you put the pins up front they will wear really fast. but if you put them in the back. it will look really silly.. i would say you can mix the stock talons with the dawgs,, but not with the pins..

great. yeah the swamp dawgs have alot of meat on them. i dont see why they wouldnt work wiht the stock revo tires. thats a good idea. and i can already tell how quick the pinn dawgs will wear just by touching them. i heard the pinns were good for packed dirt and even sand. ill go with your idea for now till i get some more money to get another set of pinns and dawgs with matching rims for both haha. but i took the deal while it was there. definetly no regrets

dont mean to double post but i just wanted to add that maxxamizer rims are GREAT. no glue, no mess. a little bit of a pain to get together but once they are its great. definetly reccomend them to anyone who doesn't want to get a set of rims everytime they need a new set of tires. great product

I once had a set of pins all the way around on a Maxx. On the dusty track it was great. When the track was moist and packed, the rear would come around on turns, so I put the stocker tires back on the front. Worked like a charm, and easy to set up the maxx for any track condition.
