How well will the Dirtbonz tires work on a track that has a lot of turns & jumps and one long straight? I should also add that since they run monster truck right after watering the track,it goes from wet to dusty real quick.
Any input is appreciated. :)

well the jumps and turns and straits dont account for as much when deciding what tire as the type of surface does..

if its hard packed you want smaller spikes, spaced closely together.. so they act like a road tire and grip the hard surface.

if its loose you want taller spikes, spaced further apart.. so they can "dig" down through the soft stuff and grip the hard stuff lower..

thats the dirty of it.. there are other aspects to look at but thats the basics..

The track conditions change during the race and I'm looking for a good all around tire to use.

My favorite all-around track tire are the bowties, the dirt bonz are nearly the exact same.

The difference between the HPI Dirtbonz and the Proline 40 Series Bowties is in the side wall. The Bowties have a much stiffer, smaller sidewall compared to the Dirtbonz which have a huge sidewall that hangs over the edge of the rim.

But the tread its self is basically the same, the dirtbonz just have little bones on em lol.

I personaly like the IMEX Step Dawg tires. I find that they work great just about everywhere and really excell when it is loose.
