I am going to pick-up some new tires for my RS-4 tomorrow and I was looking for the best money could buy for durability and traction.

Direct from HPI's website. I plan on getting a set of B15-40 as soon as I am done tearing up the tires I have on now.

Which Compound is best for you?

35R Very hot-weather surfaces, long life span
33R Hot-weather surfaces, long life span
27R Warm-weather surfaces, long life span
23R Cool-weather surfaces, long life span
20R Cold-weather surfaces, long life span

B15-40: Maximum grip, good life span
Pro Compound: High grip, average life span
Super Compound: Good grip, average life span
M-Compound: Average grip, short to average life span

Dang - ya beat me too it - I just posted about the HPI tires too! They have a good selection, especially on the rubber side. Those hard foam rounded inserts KICK ASS! Just mounted with those under a set of Gumby's tonight. Chances are I wont get to run them til the spring either! grumble grumble

Do you run foams or rubber El ?

Check out those slicks by HPI. Sticky sticky sticky

Foams or rubber? What inside the tires? I think they are rubber outside and foam inside but I am not sure since I bought this from a buddy of mine.
