Hello Guys, I had a buggy converted to onroad. I am wondering if it can give me some advantage to put a little bit bigger size of tires on the back? or it will damage my center diff? thanks in advanced.

I would think the larger rear tires would over power the smaller front tires and hurt handling.

if its 4x4 front and rear needs to be the same size. No matter what your getting the same rpm from the axle. If you have smaller tires the vehicle will move slower but have quicker acceleration. Larger it will be slower off the line but have a higher speed. Tires change gear ratio not a whole lot but they do. So basically if you put larger in the rear and smaller in the front your going to be dragging your front wheels bc they arnt going to be spinning as fast on the ground as the rear tires.

I don't think this is a good idea to put the bigger tyres on the back. it might not damage your center diff . but because of big tyres on the back you might face the problem in handling your RC that may be a cause of an accident.
