Remember that thred i had calld "? on tires" and i was looking at the bow-ties and you guys wanted me to get mulchers, well i got the bow-ties and they rock!! bark and dirt i got like 300% better then the stock tires and the street was wounderful insted of body roll it slides and so far no show of whearing:classic:

Tires do make a big difference.
Just a warning, If you use the Bow-Ties on the street they wont last very long.

I swear mike 10 peopel can all recomend something to you and you do the complete oposite. Mike I am telling you do not go outside and play in the expressway it is to dangerous listen to me mike dont do it. X

So in Mikes case he does what the hell he wants to regardless.... I am new at all this. I have the t maxx and would like to get a better set of tires. If anyone could throw out a few sugestions and links for some pics. That would be swell:) Thanks

Kevron what kind of terriene are you going to be on Street, Dirt Ect.....

I run on dirt, gravel, grass, and the occasional out of crontrol can't help it MUD! Pretty much everything. But mostly grass and dirt.

First, running on the grass isn't the best thing. I puts a huge load on your engine and can cause you to overheat and destroy your engine quickly.

For dirt and all around use, I like the ProLine Mulchers. They are more aggressive than the bow-ties and will last much longer.

I run Panther Meat Grinders. They work great and have tons of traction. The only downside is, they almost have to much traction on our track. It can be hard to drift around corners sometimes because they get so much traction but other than that, I love them. I run on grass, dirt, gravel and at the track, very soft dirt.

A lot of guys, at the track, use bowties. The only downside I have seen is they don't tend to hook up as good and I can usually get around them after a corner since they are still spinning in the dirt.

oh shure diss the bow-ties now that i got them:trout:

I can personally vouch for the performance of Proline's Maxx Mashers. I have run them on the following terrain and have seen great success: Pavement, dirt (loose or packed), mud (check muddy maxx threads this forum), gravel, grass, chassis-plate-deep water, snow (like 3 inches deep...nothing like the fellows up Norh or out West get).

I am impressed with what I have heard about Proline's Big Joe 40s and am currently looking at adding a set to my collection of tires (Mashers, Road Rage, and Stock).

I have seen J Hawgs on a .21 Maxx, and they seemed to really well. Ask El Pirata for his impressions. It was his T that I saw them on.

Have the mulchers and love them. Most run them at the local tracks.

I have the Big Joe 40's on my Savage and lovem them so far as well. Unfortunately, I have only been able to run them on the snow. They hook up well on SNOW but not on ice. Then again, nothing but steel spikes will HOOK up on ice hehehe...

That sounds like fun. Here in Florida we don't see much of that. It sound like it wouldn't be good for the truck. When you find some thing that works, I feel like I need to let everyone know. You should check out prohobbyracing.com This guy has designed a bolt on chassis that allows the use of a bump starter. The chassis and starter box is being reviewed for an aritical in HI-TORQUE R/C CAR MAGAZINE. This makes the max so light, fast and strong. check it out. I can email pics of mine, to large for post Dolphin racer
