Looking to get some better rubber for my Maxx. I'm going to be running mainly on dirt and gravle but might ocasionaly get on some harder surfaces. Any sugestions. By the way the dirt ill be running on is packed prety tight from truck running on it. Might as well be concreet with a layer of dirt.
a lot of people run the proline mashers. they offer excellent traction off road in just about anything and on pavement they don't wear down as quick as little pins would. also being that they are a softer compound they grab good on the pavement where as other brands seem to be a little hard. mine have been a big improvement over the stock chevrons.
This morning i took the time to put on some of the upgrades i got with my T-Maxx. Front and rear RPM bulk head braces, Rear RMP shock tower and body mount, and Big Bore shocks in the rear, and a front RPM grill guard. At 10 when every one left for our weekly PX,Post office run I stayed behind to run my truck. Breaking in the motor couldn't have been easy-er. I didn't have any of the break in pains you hear about. After the break in i started to run it and tune. After leaning it out a little i was pulling wheelies and stopies like no other. Till the last wheelie! I slammed on the throttle and up came the front end. I ran it for about 30-40 yards till my rear right tire hit a small rock and came off the ground. Now I'm running on the rear left tire only and my rear right ballooned to more than double the normal size. When the right side came back down POW a 6in strip the entire with of the tire flew about 30 feet high. Damn it. After lunch i finished adding my upgrades. Front RMP Shock tower and body mount. Front set of Big Bores. I received my Progressive rate spring set in the mail so i went a head and put those on.
theres a tire snake for ya. ouch on the tires. the slashes will go on two wheels and do that. you can fix that by putting a really thick grease in your diff
