I went through the procedure of tire balancing on my Slash 4X4 PE. It needed it! This was a relatively simple job, took about 20 minutes.

First I bought a Du-Bro prop balancer at my LHS for $27.00. Here's a link at Tower.

Then I went to Home Depot and bought a block of duct seal for $2.00.

Watch this clip from Losi and it shows the principles. Very easy.

It made a world difference for smooth acceleration.

Thats a good idea.

Balancing my Revo tires made a huge difference in lap time and handling. I'll be balancing all my tires from now on.

I got that balancer for $27.35 total. What do you use as weight? That home depot link is dead. I can't wait to do this, even though my race league has unofficially disbanded
