I've just bought a thunder tiger car with a thunder tiger pro .21 r on it any1 got any idea where to get a 1 way bearing for it as it looks like an old engine please help. can upload a pic if needed
 
thanks thats the 1 I've seen but dont know lol cos thats the 1 for the newer engines isnt it?

can u tell me what the model of the car is mine is exactly the same as image except mine has a smaller silver cooling head
 
You need to look at the thunder tiger website and see if you can download the exploded views to positively identify what you have.
 
if you get the bearing out and on the end there is a part number.
 
I've read the part number and typed it in online and it brings up a completly different sort of bearing dont know what to do????????
 
do you use e-bay if you do type the number in there it will come up with the bearing you need..
 
Normally the number stamped on the one way bearing portion is the manufacturer # of that specific OWB (which is pressed into the hex portion of the unit) and not the part # of the unit as a whole the manufacturer of the rc would use to identify it.

Your best bet it to measure the diameter of the starter shaft and the size of the hex the starter unit has and match it up with the bearing unit you need.
