GS storm! one of my two .21 GS storms, the other is pieced in a box, but I'm thinking about taking it out tomorrow. has 14 gallons of fuel through it and it will still run like a champ! if you know what this is or have ever owned one, you might be awesome!

AH! man that brings back memories man! My brother's and I all bought those GS rigs new when they came out love them very durable stock. Man those GS .21 engines were the easiest to tune. I just recently got mine back together. I remember when these rigs pretty much started the UMT class at my local club track! Unfortunately that was pretty much the last nail in the coffin for the MT racing:(

theyre trusty little sumbitches! ill tell you that much

Still got one here in the UK, its my main basher. It is the RTR Plus version (2006 i think) but i've done a few upgrades like servos (obviously), CNC shock towers, carbon fibre servo deck, carbon fibre steering plate, Storm Evo hinge pin holders so the A-arms aren't held by the original holders any more as they ripped out the chassis plate at the back (why are they so close to the edge!), and probably more that I've forgotten at the moment lol
The engine (GS BO3) is still going strong, I've put over 15 litres (4 US Gallons) though it but I bought it second hand a couple of years ago so don't know the total amount of fuel it's had though it.
Parts are getting harder to get now so looking for another cheap second hand buggy to replace it, maybe a Hyper 7.

i feel your pain man, these are so hard to find parts for, you got the b03, i still got the 01 LOL. i dont run them much anymore because mine are about 15 years old, they are fossils! they are still one of the best buggies I've seen

Looks awesome. Whatever happened in that parking lot race? I ask because there is a lHS near my house that is going to start having them. I'm pretty confident my son and I will have the only 1/8 nitros in it...but that is all we have. So looks like I'm going to be building a 'steet buggy'. ;-) Well, not build one...just set it up for on-road driving.

Gavin...get you that Hyper 7. They are inexpensive, but I assure you not 'cheap'. ;-)

well i didnt go to race my buggy, the motor wont fit in it due to the mount holes being a tad closer that they need to be:/ but i did run my buggy around my street the other day, handles like a champ, but thats good ol' GS for you

I know what you mean :) having had the misfortune of having an ACME Attacker, now thats "cheap" :whhooo: :hehe:

Thing is i kinda want to keep the GS Storm as its still my favourite RC i have, but I can't afford a Hyper 7 without selling it :(

I may just stick it on ebay for £100 buy it now with some spares, extra wheels and tyres etc, and if it doesn't sell i will keep it :D
