when I give my savage full throttle and it hits 2nd to 3rd gear it makes that sound as if it wants to shut off......
Any suggestions
 
check your carb settings because it sounds like your high speed needle or your low speed needle is too lean.
 
Gonna be his high speed needle........ turn your high speed about 1/16 counter clock wise and try it.
