My throttle servo died. if you tap it it will work for a minute then stop. Checked it with the reverse servo just to make sure. Should i just replace it with the stock Traxxas servo or should i buy something better? Thanks
 
I'd swap the 2070 servo to the throttle/brake and pick up a nice Hightech servo for steering. As long as you have a rx hump pack already.
 
What do you have for a steering servo? 2055's and 2070's are pretty good on throttle. You may want to just find a new one for throttle and get steering servos later. It's always good to know you have something reliable for the throttle. 40mph into a tree sucks. I was using hitec 635hb's on my throttles but they're junk so I got a futaba s3010 so I could use my stock servo horns.
 
Thanks guys i just replaced it with a stock one. Might upgrade the steerings later.
