throttle servo?

i was in the midst of breaking in my new 3.3 tonite. got half way thru the 5th tank, and started seeing the power come out of this beast, then all the sudden she just quit responding....throttle servo was dead...gave no warning of it at all, just flat out quit. brought it in, switched servos around on the receiver, and all the spots work for the receiver...but the throttle is dead...and for some reason the reverse servo is also dead...i didnt use it anyway as i have a foc tranny now, but it worked when i took it out, but like i said its dead also....any ideas guys?? thanks in advance

took the servo out, did a bunch of testing on it...shes toast..took the servo apart checking for loose leads, and thats when the smell of a good ole burnt electric motor hit me...oh well. the major part (my revo running again) is good enough for me...so this will be to be coninued till next weekend when i have a new servo for her

I had the same thing happen to my revo after a gal of fuel. I'm starting to think that the 2055 is a problem for traxxas. You can install the same unit as the steering servo the 2070 . My replacement was the Futaba S3305 . I have not installed it because . I'm waiting for a reply to see if I should use it for my steering servo and put the 2070 in for the throd/ brake servo. Because I do'nt know witch one is stronger. I wish there was a servo chart? :\

My wire connection came apart at the servo. I still need to see if they will warranty it.

I know the 2070 makes 125 oz torque at about .18 speed the other one I am not sure. I use the 2075 for throttle which is the waterproof version of the 2070.
