Throttle servo acting up, need help

mulgore, sounds to me maybe it is the controller try a different one .if you have any other traxxas radio's
 
you said when you tried the different servo in both slots that servo worked?? if so than it is the servo that is bad, and yeah if you trun the truck n before the controller it wont link up rith most of the time and is very bad habbit to get into!!! you forget to have that on before you start your truck or somthing and it could be a bad outcome.... just dont want to hear that your truck took off on you without controler on and have more parts to work on...
 
I'm having almost the same problem I just got my truck running again this morning and when it turned on it took off on me I wasn't even holding the remote also I noticed the sensor lighting changes from blue to red after a while when I first turn it on everything is fine but after 10-15 seconds it doesn't read the remote anymore and when I turn the wheels it goes from drive to reverse and I'm stumped I'm at work now so I can't mess with it but if its a servo I think I have spare I'm not sure
