I want to install a TRS on my T-Maxx which is outfitted with the 2.5 engine. I see alot of Maxxes have the TRS installed from the throttle servo to the shock tower, but from what I gather is useless if there's no power, or a bent throttle rod. I want to connect my TRS directly to the carb, and need some suggestions how to do this, and some pix if possible.

I am kinda in the same boat with u. I'm trying to install a TRS on my wasp .18 that has a slide carb. i seen a pic where a guy ran the TRS from the ball screw on the carb over to the HSN. u can try that.

i had mine to the throttle servo to the shock tower it worked fine when i tsted it but i currently dont have one cause i had to peplace my tower and never got around to putting another TRS on.

I got a spring about 2 1/2" long and just ran it from the ball joint around the carb and back to the ball joint. It works perfect for the slide carb. I also put some shrink tubing on the spring to keep it from chafing the rubber boot on the slide.
