So I've got the Red Dot installed, but I'm having issues with the throttle linkage. The servo pulls the carb open to the max, but wants to pull further then gets caught and will even push the front linkage post backwards, allowing to throttle to stick open. I've placed the small pivot point in closer to the center on the servo horn. This change in angle helped somewhat. Being that I'm using the stock radio gear, I have no control over the end points. I've added a "throttle return spring" similar to the setup on the 3.3's. It works somewhat but on occasion, it'll stick.

You guys have any suggestions?

Maybe get some decent servos that have end point adjustments?
Thats about all i can say sorry, but the last thing you want is the throttle sticking because a failsafe wont save you as you will still have a signal.
By the way, what happens if you hit the brakes after its stuck?

The brakes will work because it's the front linkage by the carb that is binding. This allows the servo to still move. The front linkage actually gets push backwards after a certain point, if that makes sense. Can you adjust endpoints with just the right servo or do you have to have a TX that allows you to set them?

you would have to upgrade the radio. you can try a shorter servo arm, or move the linkage as close to the servo as possible. that should make the travel shorter.
