What left the chat? Usually the damage is caused by a connecting rod ejecting itself. The pistons are still in place. Too much compression? Crack in the block?

Or pre detonation. I seen this before on a boosted nitro car. Except it was aluminum block and bent the connecting rod into a perfect Z had to dig the piston out of the block. Was actually pretty cool. It was on. Aluminum V8 cut down to a V4 was my bosses wife’s drag rail. I asked him if I could keep the rod he said no 😞..
