that really sucks...i was off at my uncles all day today riding my cousin's dirt bikes. i had some pretty close calls but never went down.

Seriously, you should go get your ribs checked out. You don't want to run the risk of puncturing a lung, or having them set wrong, leaving you with a diminished breathing capacity.

UHHHHH today I went riding for the first time since I broke my foot. And have came to the conclusion that I need to slow the hell down. Needless to say I ate poop pretty good. I was crusing along, not paying attention, and went off this little jump wrong, the next thing I know is I'm struggling to get ahold of my breath laying on the ground. A bunch of people ran over to me, and were all holy crap you ok. I could talk I just kept going one minute. So after regaining some life lol, I get up and take my battered bike and eveluate. I bent the sub fram, scratched my brand ass new pipe, broke a hand guard and scratched everything. I must have fell doing 50mph. Me I think I broke a couple ribs for shure, I'm having a hard time breathing still, and have a constant pain in my chest, but I'm just going to wait this pain out. I'm just a little pissed about my bike thought. Life goes on. At least I know that my KTM 525 xc does 82 now. That was fun. It was a good day back untill my crash. Now I sit and wait. lol. Just wanted to share with you guys.

I had a co-worker go down on a bike pretty bad. He is paralyzed from the waist down as a result. He was a professional racer with full gear. It didn't matter when he hit a hidden rock off the trail and was launched through the air and snapped his spine.

Be careful. You never know when the unexpected will happen and change your life forever.

I feel like poop! This is unbeliveable. I really feel like I was up and kicked in the chest by a horse. I'm going to make an appointment for this week to go see the docter, cause this blows. I think I'm going to fix my bike, and then just take it easy for a while, cause I dont know how much more I can take.

ummm I think I would sell the bike sounds like it likes to toss your ass off sorry bro!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking about going to the emergincy room! fiddlesticks later in the week! This is a pain that is slowly creepin up on me.

Please, man. Get yourself checked out immediately. You sound pretty busted up this time. A foot is one thing, but a chest injury is nothing to wait with.
Please, do it now.
We'll be thinking about you, so keep us posted as to your progress.

man I've had some bad rc bashes, every time i run the thing i break something... but you keep breaking yourself...

i hope you get that chest checked out. chest injuries are nothing to ignore...

Well last night after I signed off, my mom went online, and googled all the chest crap, and said you dont sound to bad off, youll be fine. She's all "sleep it off and see how you feel in the morning". So I did. I woke up this morning, and felt a little better, still really sour, but better. Seeings to how I am better my mom, and dad said that I should just wait and get an appointment this week with the dr. I dont know I think they have a phobia of the ER or something, like windex, or vix's will solve my problems, for you Big fat greek weeding, or Gorge Lopez fans lol. I can breath a little deeper then last night which was my big concern. I'm just going to have to ride the wave and let it flow, I'm not going to push myself at all untill I feel at least 80%. My chest isnt the issue anymore though it still aches but, later last night, my back started to like spazim, and I have a pinching feeling between my sholder blades. Weird stuff. And as of today, I have thrown away all my race intry forms for this year. I think I like riding at my own pace, and not pushing myself all the time, better then falling everytime out. Next on the list is to get my bike shined up again, cause it took one hell of a beating on this one, I'm pretty pissed about it, but noting money can't solve, lol. Well thanks for your concideration guys, You truly helped me out last night, kinda brought me up, I guess thats the great thing about this site, Like a family, so to speak.

He hasn't responded here since midnight, last night, so I have a feeling he did the right thing and went to the ER.

I can't believe it. I just submitted the post, only to see that you had responded while I was typing. Good to see you back.

I think it will take time. It sounds to me like rib injurys, are only fixed with time and care. Which I will shuryly do. I have been doing alot of research on them and found that I pretty much have the signs, but if you go to a doctor, they just give you pills and say take care. It is the weirdest feeling though, I can't describe it, my moms all how do you feel a little while ago, I told her "its as if I was jumped into a gang then thrown out of a truck at 50mph". Tomarrow is another day, Ill just have to see how it goes.

I'm glad to hear you're already feeling a little better. On the bright side, the younger you are, the faster you heal. Hang in there.

Well as of today I feel better once again. I had to wash my bike this morning, and that almost streched out my muscles. My back pain has gone away, now I just have chest pains, and still can't breath good. But I think ill be back up and good before this weekend, at least I hope so because I have a big fishing trip planed. I guess I didnt tell the story of how the hell I fell this time, its quite amusing, so here it is.

I was crusing along, and there was a factory rider out there that day in a van with the sponsor's name on it. So we were crusing along and that van catches my eye, so I turn to look realy quick and wasent paying enough attention to what was in front of me and I droped of this steep lil hill thing into a wash. At the bottom was a whoop section(of big deep sand whoops), I hit that and didnt have time to think let alone do anything and the last thing I rember is my bars catching the ground. The next thing I know, I wake up and the adrinin is still pumpin so I went to jump up really quick and quickly realized that wasent going to happen, so I layed back down, more or less fell down in pain. Siting there face down breathing in dirt, trying to come around, I hear that factory rider, say holy poop are you alright, you flew about 50 feet threw the air. All i could say is F**K! So as I get my breath back a little, i turn to him and go your sponcered by zip-ty, you lucky bastard, he just laughed his ass off, and said thats all you can think about at a time like this.

Yep thats what happen. I find it funny, and so did my class today. I have seen that guy at races before to. It was kinda cool to see him out in the desert, not under the circumstances, but none the less. I think the next time I see him I'm going to say rember me I'm the kid that ate crap staring at your bike, lol.

The van was parked there for the SOLE purpose of distracting you.
Good to hear you're coming around. Don't get beaten up by a fish, now.

LMAO
Use a styrofoam raft, wear several life jackets and carry scuba gear. Have the Coast Guard on stand by.
Sorry, Bryson. I know it hurts when you laugh, but it's also the best medicine.

Ya i know karl's kinda hurt. lol. Thinking about it hurts worse lol.
