RC Driving Style
i saw a guy run his rc10gt rtr the other day for a few mins, and it looked like its a fun ride, and damn that thing is light compared to my heavily modded .21 maxx...i wonder how high i can make it go..lol..anyway...i also experinced how hard it was to drive my t-maxx after the front cvd broke and i had rear wheel drive only..it was no fun. i did not see the guy with the rc10gt run in the dirt, so I'm wondering how these things drive in the dirt, i mean it was so light, and i can't imagine how it would put power to the ground? even though they are made for dirt? reasons why i want an rc10gt is becuase of how light it is...and rpm makes parts for it....peace--

I am a former GT owner and I really liked mine. It is worlds apart from a Maxx. I drove my Maxx for a long time. And when I set the GT back on the ground after a few months, I had trouble keeping up with it. It's hella fast. And it jumps a lot longer and higher than my Maxx did. But can take punishment. It is RWD, so you have to keep that in mind. It runs good in the dirt, but as with any RWD, you can really break the back end loose if you lean hard on the throttle. In my eyes, that's half the fun. Powerslides. Long drifts. It's very agile. If I had a place to race, I never would have sold mine...

hmm...so are you saying without using it for mostly racing you lost interest in it? i do all my bashing at the bmx track..but luckily this spring my town is acutaly gonna build an rc track right NEXT to the bmx track..i never thought about racing r/c's but i may have to look into it..i know my 1/8 buggy showed me the light in terms of high speed handling and competitive driving.

if you have a BMX track to bash on , i think youll love the GT . it will handle that nicely

No, not really saying that it's not fun to bash. It was always a blast to drive. I just found that for bashing around the yard, I always picked up my Maxx. So I just decided that the garage was a bit too full...

dude... RWD is so fun . it will elevate your driving skill a ton if you can master a GT with some power ... i say go for it dude. youll like it

I'd get a rustler! They have the same racing engine the T-maxx has and that's 4wd think of what u can do if that engine only had to power 2 wheels. and yes like supernitro said it will make you a much better driver since 4wd is a lot easier to manouver (if the cvds work)

Blast off!!!

yeah , the rusty is a good truck , especially for bashing , super durable and high power. I'm gettin one

They say it handles like crap but not when you put the rear shocks on front and T-maxx aluminums on the back!

got nitro . is that really what you're supposed to do ? I'm thinking of possible shock upgrades for mine besides the regular old crap... i going to add some RPM a arms and an aluminum rear tower and steel spur... should be damn near bullet proof after all that
