OK. Let me ask a few questions.
First, we know you want on-road. So:
1. Nitro or electric?
2. For bashing or racing?
3. What's your budget?
4. Is there a hobby shop close to you?
5. What cars do they carry and do they carry parts for them?

a nitro car for bashing around 200-300dollars

i never had a road car so i dont what to get

I definitely recommend the GT4 Yokomo Street for the price range although if you don't know the sites the parts availability isnt great.

Otherwise...dont get a Evo 3 SS. They suck at the track. If you want something really cheep concerning the price get the Team Magic G4 although i dont know anything more about it :D

Otherwise a VERY commen route is the NTC3...but thats if you have a lack of imagination ;)

First on-road? Can[t go wrong with the Team Associated NTC3. Great for bashing and can be easily used competatively. Parts availability is great. Lots of hopups

NTC3 has a drive shaft. Belts are more prone to breaking when debris gets sucked into the teeth. The higher end racers use belts. For a beginner, shaft drive will be more suited or your purpose.

go for the ofna ld3 or cd3.
they are ready to run out of the box and are virtually bullet proof and no hopups needed, they are included.
go to the ofna website and see for yourself.

If u consider the Ofna line the CD3 is the better choice. The LD3's motor IMO sucks. Very low HP for an on-road. But an overall well round on-road is the NTC3.

You'll be happy with the NTC3. Parts availabilty is really good most everywhere and there's a bunch of hop-ups out there for it. If you don't have a good LHS, there's usually a good supply on eBay or from many of the on-line shops. I have two, but I'm thinking of selling the second and getting a TC4.
