The very useless bumper...

I'm looking for an upgrade of the stock bumper. Now it seems like an odd part to upgrade but I've noticed that for someone like me its pretty crucial. I've crashed this car twice and took some easily managed damage both times and both times the bumper was completely useless.

Its too small and too high, the only thing this stock bumper would protect my car from is a head on collision with a wall, that is if I'm driving perfectly straight, right into it.

It seems like any future crash will break my a arms or wheels as their practically in front of the tiny bumper. And suggestions for a larger, more protective bumper? And tell me if you agree with me or not on this failure of a bumper!

+1 on the RPM. i have tried Theirs and RC Ravens' and i really prefer RPMs. it has a bar that covers the skid. i put it on months ago and haven't looked back. one thing with them though that i have seen on the forums is that the chrome ones peel easy. i can't confirm that cause i bought the black ones (stealth car! jk) but their a great product. so is a lot of rpm stuff, for that matter.

do you have the long or short mountings that the bumpers goes to if you get the shorter ones the bumper sits down lower

+1 for RPM stuff. Even on a 30lb Baja their bumpers take the abuse and keep on coming back for more.
