Build Thread The "Unreliant"- A ZaneC Build

Hey guys. Sorry about the silence here. I've been kinda stuck on the bearing blocks, but I do have some ideas. I hope to be posting again here soon.

I have a suggestion. You could use stock Traxxas hubs for the 2wd and 4wd stuff and drill 2 holes in the bottom part of the hub and screw it to the chassis. That would work.

That's kinda what I was thinking, BUT, I don't have easily access to those parts at the moment. Right now I live by a hardware store, so I think I might be able to find something there.

OK, so the other day I got these. They were failed 3D prints, but I see them as potential bearing blocks for the Unreliant. The problem is that they're hollow. Any ideas?

If you drilled and sleeved with a tube and bearings, you could use something like that I think.

Bigger spur, smaller pinion should get you going.
Fast or not, it goes pretty well for a little home made project!

So, what your saying is it could use a little more weight. I like the concept, don't give up on it!
